2. Perms (sorry Josh this is one of mine to)

- Why? (it really is just a waste of money)

3. Ear Plugs (Those earring things that actually make a large hole in your earlobe)

- I mean seriously. . . . . If these have any benefit, I'm still not getting them!!!

4. Drivers that follow way too close

- Really?!!!!. . . . . . if you want to get in the car with me, I can pull over and I will let you in!!!

5. Paid Programming

Being a leader

I have also been reading a book that I got at the WILDS called "Biblical Leadership" by Ken Collier and MAtt Williams. It has really taught me that being a leader isn't about giving orders and telling people what to do. IT is about being the best servant for God that you can be. "God wants Christian school leaders in Junior and senior classes who - b/c they have a grasp of what God desires for their school - shatter the mold of what teenagers normally are. The primary quality of a godly leader is that he follows someone who is stronger then he is, more discerning than he is, and more in control of circumtances than he is. Jesus Christ is the leader who served! He is the servant who leads! After all, when Christ came to earth, his leadership appeared so different, so unlike others, that is was startling and puzzling to everyone, inlcuding the men who lived a walked with Him each day. Being a different kind of leader means following the model of leadership laid out by the greatest leader who ever lived. We should accept no other alternative types of leadership. If we desire to be like Christ, we must learn to lead by serving!

In short, if you are going to be a leader like our Leader, the Lord Jesus Christ, you are choosing, not to selfishly dominate, but to sacrificially serve those whom you lead." (excerpts from Biblical Leadership)

Mark 10:44 "And whosoever of yo uwill be the chiefest , shall be servant of all"

Mark 10:45 "For even the son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."

Mark 9:35 "If any man desire to be first, the same sahll be last of all, and servant of all."

everybody does it so why can't I

Hey everybody. . . . I have noticed the trend with starting a blog so I decided. . . . why shouldn't I try my luck at it (it's ok everybody, I really don't believe in luck). I can't think of anything right now but when I do I will put something up that is worth reading. . . later everybody
